Chef Garvin is dedicated to advancing his craft in the kitchen while serving as an inspiration to others.

An accomplished chef, author, entrepreneur, television host and, philanthropist, he was the youngest cook at the downtown Ritz-Carlton, before moving to the West Coast in 1988 to open Ritz-Carlton’s Rancho Mirageresort in Palm Springs.

A supporter of the Jenesse Center (the oldest domestic violence intervention center in LA) and Second Harvest, he is working on his culinary boot camp for kids ages 16 to 19 through the G. Garvin Foundation.
